Account and bid history: while your account is active, plus a reasonable period after closure.
Transaction records: up to 7 years (tax / accounting compliance).
Marketing list entries: until you unsubscribe, then removed within 30 days.

We use HTTPS everywhere, hashed passwords, encrypted backups, and reputable hosting/processing partners. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
